Welcome to the Partnership Health Check

A good business partnership can deliver quickly and cost effectively. A poor business partnership can absorb large amounts of time and energy with little return.

By understanding where your current partnership sits on this scale, we enable you to evaluate its worth, and decide on the best way to achieve the results it was set up to deliver.

What is the Partnership Profile?

The Partnership Profile was developed by Q. Learning in partnership with Avenue Management and is a unique model of partnership using information and feedback from organisations in both the public and private sectors. This leading edge tool evaluates nine criteria for successful partnership, and provides the basis on which to build the development plan.

The process starts with an online questionnaire about the partnership. This can be completed by any number of people from each of the partner organisations (ideally about six each, depending on size), but will produce useful results from just one person. The responses to the questionnaire are analysed and a report showing the ratings for the nine criteria is compiled, together with a definition of the type of partnership.

As a single partner organisation, you are then invited to a follow-up session with an accredited facilitator to review your report internally and to create a partnership development plan from your own organisation’s perspective

The next step is a comparison of the views of all those involved on all sides of the partnership, and this takes the form of a second facilitated review and planning session between the partners.

Although the greatest benefit will be obtained if all sides of the partnership are involved in the process, it is also valid for just one partner.

How much does it cost and how do I register?

The cost of the complete health check is in the region of £2750 for one partner organisation, depending upon the number of individuals participating, and the type or size of organisation. The cost includes access to the on-line questionnaire, a half day of assessment and planning, including the production of individual and group partnership reports, and a half-day review session to formulate the partnership development plan, which includes the future use of the partnership model, reference guide and template.
